The Bayside Neighborhood in Everett

Bayside may be one of the most iconic neighborhoods of Everett Washington. It has a long history dating back to 1892 with many multi-generational lifelong Everett residents and some of the most amazing views overlooking Puget Sound/Port Gardener Bay and Everett's fun waterfront areas along Marine View Drive. It is a place of long-standing tradition, great public schools, and some of the best-kept historic homes along quiet streets. 

Where is the Bayside Neighborhood? 

Bayside is located within the boundaries of 19th Street on the north all the way south to Hewitt Avenue and from Broadway on the east all the way to the waters of Port Gardner Bay. It is a highly popular area of Everett to live especially for many people who have made Everett their lifelong home. It is a portion of Everett that can feel like a friendly small town, with just enough mix of newer residents and businesses to keep it from feeling exclusive and tough to find your place to belong. 

Areas of Interest in Bayside

Bayside is home to a great mix of long-standing Everett Tradition and brand new business. It holds great small local retail stores and large chain businesses side by side. Bayside's most visited area is the Everett waterfront on Port Gardener Bay here you can find the newly popular Everett summer farmer's market. The long-standing Anthony's Home Port overlooking all of the ships in the Marina right on the water, a public boat launch, the Everet Naval Station, and the ferry boat to the fun and unspoiled Jetty Island. 

Further inland you can enjoy a stroll through the north Everett downtown core with a mix of local and national retail stores and restaurants. Bayside is also home to the first-ever Everett public library which is large and architecturally beautiful, and Everett's first public park Clark Park. Legion Park is probably the most popular outdoor spot overlooking the water and home to events like Everett's highly anticipated Fourth of July. 

Public Schools

North Everett is highly desirable to young families seeking to benefit from living within the boundaries of some of the best schools in the Everett School District. Everett High School has long been a school steeped in tradition and community pride, is also has some of the most amazing historic buildings that are lovingly kept up. This school is the one families want to send their kids to when living in Everett. Also popular on the list of public schools in Bayside is Whittier Elementary it is a public school with a private school-type atmosphere of dedication to excellence.
