The Beverly Park/Pinehurst Neighborhood in Everett WA

The Beverly Park-Pinhurst Neighborhood is one of the 18 main neighborhood areas of Everett. It is centered where Beverly Boulevard and Pinehurst streets intersect in the northern portion of what is considered south Everett. This area is recognized for its cute bungalow style homes but does also offer larger properties, apartments, and commercial spaces. 

Things to Do in And Near Beverly Park

The western broader of this small Everett Neighborhood runs along Evergreen Way. Evergreen Way is one of the largest and most utilized streets in Everett and many retail stores, services, and restaurants can be found along Evergreen Way. Close to the neighborhood you can find the Cascade Shopping Center on Evergreen which is home to a Safeway grocery store, a Ross clothing store, a 24-Hour Fitness gym and more. Across the street from the center is a Starbucks Coffee. Also along Evergreen Way you will find more grocery shopping, fast food restaurants, local favorite restaurants like the Totem,  beloved local Memos Mexican Restaurant, and Lanna Thai. 

Beverly Park is just 10 minutes form one of Everett's best loved parks on the waterfront Howarth Park. Ask anyone who grew up in and around Everett where they enjoy the Puget Sound Beaches in Everett and they will mention Howarth Park. Forest Park is one of Everett's largest and most beloved public parks with a huge play structure and splash park it is also within 10 minutes from the neighborhood. Lions Park is within walking distance of many homes within Beverly Park and a good place to get outside with little effort. 

For physical activity the whole family can enjoy in one place there is a fairly new YMCA less than 10 minutes north on Colby. The center includes an aquatic facility, fitness rooms, and plenty of classes and activities. 

If you enjoy a game of bowling on weeknights or on the weekends Evergreen Lanes is close by and almost like an Everett landmark along Everegreen Way. There are several things to discover all in this small section of the City. 

One of the most notable things to do in this area is hop on the Interurban Trail. This is a paved walking, skating, biking, etc trail the winds past the Everett Mall, the Alderwood Mall, through the cities of  Mountlake Terrace, Lynwood, Shoreline, Edmonds, and finally makes its way into Seattle. This trail has many great stops along the way and winds for miles and miles. The start/end of the trail is located in this neighborhood. 

Then there is everything to do in the city of Everett in general all within 15 to 20 minutes in any direction. Boeing an area major employer is a quick 10 minute commute, The Mukilteo waterfront is a short drive further, Paine Field offers a handful of commercial flights right at your back door, then there is all the activity in neighboring cities and Seattle is just a short drive down I-5 which is easily accessed just five minutes away. 

Homes in Beverly Park

The majority of homes in the Beverly Park neighborhood are single family properties. There are many fun historic small homes that would make great starter homes or downsizing properties. Several homes in the area offer a total of 1,000 square feet and were built in the early 1900s. There are large properties in the area as well, many of the larger homes were constructed around the 1970s and 1980s. There are some new construction homes and apartment homes in the area as well. It is a nice mix of real estate.
