The Cascade Heights Neighborhood in Everett

Cascade Heights is a residential neighborhood in Everett's Silver Lake area. It is nicely tucked into a southern corner of the city of Everett with quick access to the neighboring regions of north Mill Creek, Snohomish, and just a few short minutes from Boeing and Paine Field. The smaller neighborhoods of Silver Lake are highly desirable, especially the single-family housing neighborhoods that are well-established in the area including Cascade Heights. 

Cascaded Heights is tucked into a quiet corner of the Silver Lake area just two minutes off Highway 529 also known as the Bothell/Everett Highway. This is the main thoroughfare through the Silverlake area where most of the commercial businesses are located. Cascade Heights features homes that are very well cared for. The pride of ownership in this portion of Everett gives the neighborhood a well-manicured and clean appearance. Yards are also well cared for giving the neighborhood a very pleasing aesthetic and a desirable atmosphere. 

Near the Neighborhood

City of Snohomish

Just a few minutes to Seattle Hill Road and you are able to access the city of Snohomish through the "backside" of Everett and through the valley and farmlands of west Snohomish. In the fall this is the most popular spot to enjoy a farmland pumlin picking experience. The newly developed golf driving range is also a big hit and some say the restaurant there serves the best french fries in the county. Further into downtown Snohomish, you will find one of the most charming historic downtown areas that hold several local boutique stores, one owned by famous house-flipping sisters and realtors from HGTV's Unsellable Houses, named Lamb and Co. 

City of Mill Creek 

Mill Creek is a small town on the south side of Everett. This charming town is home to upscale shopping areas, great parks, medical offices, and more. One of the most popular areas of Mill Creek is the Mill Creek Town Center with several great restaurants, local boutique shops, larger retail shops, and a Town and Country grocery store. 

Alderwood Mall

Alderwood Mall is a shopping hotspot destination in Snohomish County. This mall has both an indoor and outdoor shopping area. It is home to one of the most popular Nordstrom Department Stores in Western Washington.  There is a large AMC Movie Theater, and several great restaurants including Anthony's Seafood Grill, Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Chang's, and many national retailers. 

Costco Wholesale

Nearly everyone knows about Costco, but if you have never been inside, it is a supermarket, seasonal decoration, clothing, and home goods mecca. It offers great deals on several name-brand and Costco Kirkland Signature brand items. It offers bulk food items that have helped several families save on their grocery bills. There are a handful of locations around Everett including the actual Everett Costco in Silver Lake that is just off Highway 529 at the corner of 100th, just two minutes from Cascade Heights. 

Everett Mall

The Everett Mall is a smaller classic shopping mall center. It is home to many of the national retailers you would expect to see in a traditional shopping mall. There is also a theater, food court, and restaurants in the mall. Everett Mall is located on Everett Mall Way one of Everett's major commercial hubs and roadways. 

Silver Lake

Silver Lake is a quiet small lake in south Everett for which the Silver Lake neighborhood is named. This lake is popular for floating, paddleboarding, fishing, swimming, and kayaking. On the shores of Silver Lake are the popular Emory's restaurant, and the Silver Lake Public Park which offers a play structure, picnic area, swimming area, and public beach. 

Homes in Cascade Heights

The single-family homes in Cascade Heights were primarily built in the 1970s. A majority of homes have been very well maintained and this is why so many people seek to live in the quiet portion of south Everett. Many homes have been nicely updated over the years and offer up-to-date finishes as well as upgrades. Many homes in this area offer open floor plans, nicely sized kitchens, large second-family rooms, roomy yards, and great outdoor spaces perfect for entertaining. Some homes even offer peak-a-boo views of the neighboring Snohomish Valley and the Cascade Mountains.
