The Cascade View Neighborhood in Everett WA

Cascade View is a mixed-use area of south Everett in Washington State's Snohomish County. There is a vast collection of home types in this area and many of them are in walkable locations close to grocery, restaurants, retail shopping, and entertainment. The area offers easy commuting with bus lines running right through the neighborhood and access to I-5, Highway 526 (the Boeing Freeway), and Highway 99 giving easy access to major employers in the area and neighboring towns and cities. 

Cascade View is a neighborhood worth considering for anyone who is looking for choices in their home search but wants to stay very closely located to anything they need in daily life, from their commute to work to running errands, to activities, to schools and access to sports clubs and other activities.

Shopping on Everett Mall Way

Cascade View is located along the west side of Everett Mall Way. Just as the name implies, Everett Mall is located on this street across from Cascade View. The road is also a major hub for many of Everett's larger retail stores and restaurants. You can find Red Robin in the neighborhood across from the Mall. You will find Everett's south Trader Joe's location. There is a movie theater at the mall. There is Target, Panera Bread, several fast food locations, and much more. Some homes in Cascade View are within walking distance of these retail spaces. 

Paine Field Airport and Museum of Flight

Paine Field has been a long-standing airport in south Everett next to Boeing Field for many years. This smaller airport has recently opened a commercial flight terminal that makes air travel relaxed and easy with much shorter security lines and a very low chance of getting lost. Paine Field is also home to the Museum of Flight, featuring many great exhibits all centered around the history of aviation and the story of Boeing and its prominence in the Everett area. 

The Mukilteo Waterfront

Mukilteo has a picturesque waterfront area with a historic lighthouse and popular local restaurants including the Ivar's at Mukilteo Landing and the Diamond Knot Brewery and Alehouse a beloved local pub. The pub serves up some of the best pizza you have ever tasted with fresh ingredients. Diamond Knot is also known for serving locally brewed libations. Hop on a ferry boat and take one of the shortest ferry boat rides across Puget Sound to Whidbey Island. Or just enjoy a day on the beach at Lighthouse Park with plenty of sand/rock beachfront to enjoy the water, launch a boat, watch boats and ferries go by, or take the kids to play on the modern and artsy play structure.
