Fir Grove Homes for Sale

Fir Grove is a residential neighborhood in Everett's Silver Lake area. It is in one of the most desirable and quiet areas of the city of Everett. The Silver Lake area is within minutes of many hotspots of Everett and neighboring regions such as north Mill Creek, and Snohomish. The community is also highly desirable for its very easy commute to Boeing and Paine Field. Fir Grove is one of the longest-standing neighborhoods of Silver Lake and is high on the list of desirable home locations for those who know the Everett area. 

Fir Grove features well-cared-for and maintained properties under the shade of towering evergreen trees. The pride of ownership in this portion of Everett gives the neighborhood a well-manicured and clean appearance. Costco Wholesale

The Everett Costco location is within walking distance from the entrance of Fir Grove, though you will probably want your car with you to bring home those bulk items. This location is also home to a fuel station with some of the most reasonably priced gas (as compared to other stations in the area). Everett Costco in Silver Lake is also home to a tire center and pharmacy. 

Silver Lake

Silver Lake is a small lake in south Everett for which the surrounding neighborhood(s) is named. This lake is popular for floating, paddleboarding, fishing, swimming, and kayaking. The popular Emory's restaurant is located on the shores and the Silver Lake Public Park which offers a play structure, picnic area, swimming area, and public beach. The lake is only about a 5 to seven-minute drive from Fir Grove. Across the street from the public park is the park and ride as well as carpool lane access to I-5. 

Alderwood Mall

Alderwood Mall is a shopping hotspot destination in Snohomish County. There is a large AMC Movie Theater, and several great restaurants including Anthony's Seafood Grill, and Cheesecake Factory. This mall has both an indoor and outdoor shopping area. Stores here include Macy's, Abercrombie and Fitch, Victoria's Secret, Build-A-Bear, Lego Store, Lolli and Pops, and other popular national retailers. It is also home to one of the most popular Nordstrom Department Stores in Western Washington.  

Everett Mall

The Everett Mall is another classic American shopping mall. It is home to many of the national retailers that most malls have but also has a few small local retail stores. The mall also has a movie theater, food court,  fitness center, and restaurants. Everett Mall is located on Everett Mall Way one of Everett's major roadways. 

City of Snohomish

Take Seattle Hill Road and you are able to access the city of Snohomish through the "backside" of Everett and through farmlands of west Snohomish. In the fall this is the most popular spot to enjoy a farmland pumlin picking experience. The newly developed golf driving range at Stocker Farms right off Highway 9 is one of the areas newest attractions, some say the restaurant there serves the best french fries in the county.

Further into downtown Snohomish, you will find the most popular historic downtown areas that hold several local boutique stores, one owned by famous house-flipping sisters and realtors from HGTV's Unsellable Houses, named Lamb and Co. Taking a stroll through the locally owned stores along the river and grabbing some lunch at a unique cafe is a Saturday afternoon well spent. 

City of Mill Creek 

Mill Creek is a small town and one of Everett's neighbors to the south. Travel down the 529 as it turns into the Bothell Everett Highway and come upon the charming Mill Creek Town Center with several great restaurants, local boutique shops, larger retail shops, and a Town and Country grocery store. Another great small town area to take a stroll and enjoy both local and national retailers and many great restaurants.  

Real Estate in Fir Grove

Homes in Fir Grove were built in the 1970s and 1980s. Many of the homes have between three and five bedrooms. Some homes have been nicely updated and well cared for, you would never know that these homes are around 40 to 50 years old. landscaping is well kept and the community feels like walking through a city park. Square footage is roomy between 1,500 and over three thousand square feet. Home buyers looking for a more affordable price point to buy an Everett home may find a hidden home worth updating in the neighborhood as well.
