Forest Trails Neighborhood in Everett WA

Forest Trails neighborhood in Everett is aptly named as it is tucked among tall evergreens showcasing lunch green yards and surroundings throughout the neighborhood. This quiet spot among the trees is also in Everett's Silver Lake area on the southeast boundaries of the city. You feel like you have escaped busier areas in the center of south Everett and downtown, but you are not more than a few minutes from all of the most important places in Everett, Snohomish County, and beyond.

19th/Bothell Everett Highway

19th is the major roadway you will take to get to Forest Trails. This road is one of Everett's most utilized. On this road you will find the Everett Costco, several fast food restaurants, some smaller but beloved local Everett restaurants like Silver Dragon. The road takes you past the actual Silver Lake and Emory's on Silver Lake, a fine dining gem, and then eventually carries you to the Bothell/Everett Highway which takes you to the Mill Creek Town Center and into Bothell. 

Silver Lake

Silver Lake is a small quiet lake in south Everett for which this portion of town is named. The lake has many properties around it, a beloved local restaurant, and a public park with large play structure area, sandy beachfront swimming area, and picnic areas. 

Boeing Freeway

The Boeing Freeway is about 7 minutes from Forest Trails. The Boeing Freeway gives anyone working at Boeing or one of the many other industrial companies surrounding a super quick commute to work. This convenient roadway also carries you to Mukilteo and the Mukilteo waterfront. 

Town of Mill Creek

Mill Creek is a small town and one of Everett's neighbors to the south. Travel down the 529 as it turns into the Bothell Everett Highway and come upon the charming Mill Creek Town Center with several great restaurants, local boutique shops, larger retail shops, and a Town and Country grocery store. Another great small town area to take a stroll and enjoy both local and national retailers and many great restaurants.  

Snohomish Valley

In the fall, the Snohomish Valley is the place to be. Here you will find the area's most popular farms and pumpkin patches. There is even a spooky nighttime maze with zombies. In the summer pick your own berries. All year long enjoy the popular golf driving range or head across Highway 9 into charming historic downtown Snohomish right on the banks of the Snohomish River. 

Access to I-5

This neighborhood gives extremely quick and easy access to I-5, one of the two major interstates in western Washington quickly connecting you to pretty much anywhere in the area and beyond. Be in Seattle in about 20/30 minutes in light traffic. Head to one of the most popular outlet malls north in Marysville in around 15. Travel further north to Canada in just a few hours or south to Tacoma, Oregon, and California.

Homes in Forest Trails were built in the 1970s and 1980s with a few newer properties mixed in. Many of the homes have between three and five bedroom floorplans. Square footage begins around 1,500 square feet and can go to over 3,000 square feet. Home buyers looking for a more affordable price point to buy an Everett home may find a hidden home worth updating in the neighborhood. Though some floorplans can be repeated this is anything but a cookie cutter suburban neighborhood. Each home comes with its own style and customization of updates through the years.
