The Mukilteo Boulevard Neighborhood in Everett WA

Mukilteo Boulevard is not an official neighborhood of Everett WA, but if you have lived in Everett for a considerable amount of time you will hear it used as a landmark to describe a geographical area of Everett. Mukilteo Boulevard is recognized as a prime "waterfront" community on the bluffs overlooking Port Gardner and Puget Sound. Mukilteo Boulevard is the winding scenic roadway that takes you from the Howarth Park waterfront area to Old Town Mukilteo along the south shoreline of Everett. It is home to many amazing view properties that are highly desirable.

Old Town Mukilteo

Mukilteo Boulevard provides a scenic coastal backroad drive to the Mukilteo waterfront. Here you will find the historic lighthouse, the beach park, the Mukilteo to Whidbey Island Ferry Terminal, and a collection of great restaurants. Ivers at Mukilteo Landing is the most notable. The beach offers access to the water,  a great view of the ferry and other boats in the water, a play structure, fire pits, and is the host of great community celebrations in Mukilteo. 

Forest Park and Howarth Park

Two of the largest and most popular parks in the city of Everett are just minutes from Mukilteo Boulevard's north end. Forest Park features a large splash playpad popular with young families, large grassy areas, a huge play structure, a meeting hall, and a seasonal petting zoo. Howarth Park is right on the water with the most amazing views from high on the bluff or take a walk or drive to the beach section. Howarth Park has some fun hiking trails, 

Major Area Employers

Homes on and around Mukilteo Boulevard are located between the water and the industrial parks of some of Everett's major employers. Living in this area means you are within a 5 to 15-minute drive, depending upon the traffic, of Boeing, Amazon, Community Transit, and more. 

Shopping and Dining on Evergreen Way 

Evergreen Way is one of the main thoroughfares in Everett. It is a place of many retail stores, services, and restaurants. Along Evergreen Way, you will find grocery shopping in smaller stores or large one-stop-shops like Fred Meyer which is just about 7 to the south, fast food restaurants, and local favorite restaurants like the Totem Inn which has been an Everett landmark (everyone who grew up in Everett loves this place). Forest Park is only 2 minutes from the Totem. Other great restaurants on Evergreen include beloved local Memos Mexican Restaurant, and Lanna Thai is a favorite for Thai food. 

Public Schools Serving Homes on Mukilteo Boulevard

Depending upon the area where a home is located students may attend Everett Public Schools or Schools in the Mukilteo School District. Homes on the north end of the road are zoned for Everett Public Schools and homes on the south end closer to Mukilteo are within Mukitleo School District Boundaries. 

Everett Schools serving the Mukilteo Boulevard area include Jackson Elementary, North Middle School, and Everett High School. Schools in Mukilteo School District serving the south end of the neighborhood include Mukilteo Elementary, Olympic View Middle School, and Kamiak High School. 

Homes on Mukilteo Boulevard

Many of the homes along Mukilteo Boulevard are spacious and built around the 1970s. Some homes have been constructed since the first homes went up in the area. This brings an eclectic mix of homes and home styles to the area. Homes offer gorgeous views of the bluffs, sound, ferry, island, and Olympic Mountains. Many of the yards are spacious for waterview homes on a bluff. It is not uncommon to find a home with a yard that is a generous 1/3 of an acre.
